The Challenge

Youth are falling through the cracks

Across Rwanda, young people are drifting into addiction, gambling, and the streets — not because families do not care, but because when the warning signs appear, there is nowhere affordable, nearby, and in their own language to turn.

Professional counselling costs 20,000+ RWF per session — and exists mainly in cities.
Street children have no structured pathway back to family and school.
Parents watch problems grow in silence, with no one to guide them.

Family Mentorship

Parents and youth still at home are matched with a trained community mentor — by basic phone or WhatsApp — before the crisis becomes irreversible.

From the Field

We have started. Here is the proof.

In September 2026 we held our first community session in Kigali — bringing young people affected by drug use together with their parents and caregivers. We explained how the mentorship hub will work, and then we listened, recording what families are really facing.

That baseline is what everything we do next will be measured against.
